Artist-Designer
Tina Norén is an artist-designer based in Southern California.
Her art is colorful, bold, and often incorporates line work. Repetitive lines are a recurring theme, as the process is meditative and therapeutic.
She embraces both organic shapes and geometric elements in her abstract work, conveying both chaos and control.
Norén has designed and painted several murals, including 3 murals at elementary schools, as well as the mural in the Art Park at the Santa Paula Art Museum, where she also works part-time.
She completed three 100 Day projects, which is a self-directed art project that happens online. Currently, she is working on her fourth 100 Day project, where she’s exploring a rainbow theme.
Norén is a 2nd generation Filipino-American and mother to three school-aged children.
