The Podcast
Episodes feature candid conversations with artists and creators who give us a glimpse of what it’s like to be in their shoes, their studio, and their heads. We dive into the joy that fuels their work and the challenges of living a creative life.
Guests reveal their authentic obsession: that tangible or intangible thread that keeps coming up in conversation and finds its way into their creative work. It's that thing that permeates your creative life, keeps bubbling up, that you can't stop thinking and talking about. It is uniquely your own because of the way it comes out in your work. It could be tangible or intangible, it might relate directly to the work you create, your inspiration, or something else. There are no rules about this.
Since 2020, over 100 people have divulged their obsessions and shared what’s behind their work. And as they talk about the things they nerd out about, their passions and obsessions, it becomes easier for them to speak from the heart about ALL the parts of the creative process, leading to more insights, “ah-ha” moments and opportunities for awareness. Once you start sharing the stories behind your work — the inspiration, the techniques, and the personal journeys — it becomes so much easier to create emotional connections with your audience in a genuine way.
I hope you hear something that resonates with you and that you continue to be inspired to create.
